BEING GOOD


                                                            BEING  GOOD
                         Compassion in your heart
                         And goodness in your actions
                         Speaks of divinity in your soul

                          Stress of life and the living urges us
                         To look for security, an anchor
                         Just to feel safe
                         An anchor could be an ideal person
                         Or a belief whether spiritual or religious

                          Word religion originated from Latin word
                          "  Religio " which means " united "
                         In reverence to a belief or any religion
                         Thus controlling the mind
                         Creating division among different beliefs
                         Principles and rituals may or may not be followed
                         Each faith and each religion tells you to be good

                          Being good is being virtuous
                         Virtue leads to the freedom of the soul
                         And then to the ultimate truth

                          Being good is a religion in itself
                         Doing good makes you feel good
                        Compassionate actions bring a change
                        In a person from within
                        And the flow of divinity is realized
                        Good is always good for every reason
                        Being good is always good            
                        In every sense and every season
