AS GOOD AS ONION
AS GOOD AS ONION
Nouns treasure the substance
Adjectives are circumstantial
And conditional
We remember all
The joys , the sorrows
And sweet nothings too
Human core is made of many parts
The heart is divided into chambers
Swords of desire keep slashing
Mind and fantasy of the truth
Truth is simple it can make you laugh
Truth is good
Nouns treasure the substance
Adjectives are circumstantial
And conditional
We remember all
The joys , the sorrows
And sweet nothings too
Human core is made of many parts
The heart is divided into chambers
Swords of desire keep slashing
Mind and fantasy of the truth
Truth is simple it can make you laugh
Truth is good
Truth is bitter too
It can make you cry
It can make you cry
Truth is pure
As the core of an onion
Tears may flow from your eyes
While peeling each layer
But onion remains true till the inner center
Just as good as the truth
Future can't be seen
Through veils and disguises
Our minds and our desires
Undermine the truth
Keep slaying the signs of progress
Rein in your desires
Don't give in to your lust
To acquire more and more
Life is a gift
Acknowledge the value and the meaning
Of love, of life
Cherish and live the essence of it
Heart is the core of our existence
Must remain true to itself
Be as pure as an onion inside out
