                                  Greed is a bottomless pit
                                   Fleecing one and all
                                  To maul the man

                                   Keeping conscience in hibernation
                                  Where prevails the stench of rotting souls
                                  Of men and women  
                                  And the malnourished children

                                   The quiet expiry of the aged
                                   The un-cared and the un-loved
                                   Decries the development
                                   Of a country

                                    The abuse of humanity
                                   Asking us to wake up
                                   Peep into the conscience of goodness
                                   For a better tomorrow
 
                                   Ask yourself 
                                   Is it development ?
                                   Is this our progress ?
                                   Mocking us
                                   Our evolution?
