                                    Rise with conviction, with determination
                                    Arise with hope that our present has brought us 

                                     Rise above complacency 
                                    Remember what our past has taught us 
                                    We have walked through the rough road
                                    Of sacrifices red with blood 
                                    Of  freedom fighters, known  unknown
                                    Our brave heart soldiers
                                    Men and women known unknown
                                    We have walked through the trail of tears 
                                    Of mothers, sons and daughters 
                                  
                                   Today we stand on the common ground of humanity                               
                                   Our heroes have brought us this far 
                                   Today we are responsible for ourselves 
                                   Humanity needs love, care, dignity

                                    Reacting with violence creates more violence                                    
                                   Along with it comes chaos and confusion 
                                   Before the stagnation sets in
                                   Improve upon whatever it is 

                                  World is not separate from us
                                  We are the world 
                                  Dive deep into your soul 
                                  Follow your ideals with vitality
                                  Wherever you may be
                                  Make your country proud
                                  Arise the sun is shining now
                                  Make yourself proud
                                  Rise with the rising sun
