LITTLE BIT OF CHILDHOOD
LITTLE BIT OF CHILDHOOD
Running around
Laughing aloud
And then suddenly tip-toeing to a closed room
A world in itself
Leaving the childhood behind
Learning to be scared
Every corner whispering looking at me
The world seemed to be a game first
Anxious to grow up fast
Till the first heart break
But ready to play on
Each day bringing new problems
Along with new solutions
Anxieties start creeping up like ants
Sucking the sweat and the blood
The corollaries of modern life
How did the childhood get over
Or is it really over
Talking to God comes naturally
Asking for help so very childlike
We are capable of making a mark
And become a spark of life
Or just be a little remark
It all depends on us
Ash exists in the charcoal
Even before it is burnt in fire
And we have the fire within to make a mark
Don't escape from childhood
Save a little bit in the corner of your heart
Your childhood, your innocence
The reservoir of enthusiasm and joy
Innocent mind has no tomorrows and no yesterdays
Live like a child
Living fresh everyday with new energy
Today and everyday
A nice poem with an inspirational message to retain a part of our childhood, and childlike innocence even when we grow up facing problems and stress of life....
