                                        A  REAL GENTLEMAN  WOMAN
                             Her day begins and ends in the kitchen
                             Makes the best of the food
                             Her family waits to be served
                             At the dining table

                             A core of the family and home
                            The dining table where we laugh and eat
                            This is where we love and we cry

                             Children play under the dining table
                            This is where directions are given
                            To be better men and women
                            This is where every problem finds
                            A solution when they grow up

                             When everyone leaves
                            Not caring to make her own plate
                            She eats whatever is left on the table
                             And no one  bothers

                              She shrinks herself
                             To being nobody
                              Suppresses her desires, wants and needs 
                             Family grows and becomes big                              

                             Boys are taught to grow out 
                            Enjoy their escapades 
                            Girls are taught to grow in 
                            To grow within

                           Now    
                            I will not shrink myself
                           I don't want to be nobody
                           Heredity may be accidental
                           My conditioning well ordained
                           But I will not shrink myself now

                           Cyclone is stirring in my spirit
                          My desires are mine
                          My needs and wants all are mine 

                           I can accomplish 
                          Whatever a man can 
                          I am a woman and much more
                          I am a gentleman woman
                          Yes - a woman
                           A real gentleman woman
