IN MY COUNTRY




                                                    IN  MY  COUNTRY
                     I tasted pride
                     And I tasted happiness
                     After my all India tour ......
                     I am in awe of -  our scriptures and our sculptures
                     The art and the architecture .
                     Seems all of this is a standing ovation 
                     Of our glorious past .....

                      This is the land where .....
                     "  Non-violence "  was given by Mahatma Gandhi to the world .
                      " Zero " was initiated by Aryabhatt an ancient Indian
                       Mathematician and astronomer for all calculations to the world . 
                      " The Yoga Sutras " were introduced by Sage Patanjali centuries ago
                       For the mental and physical well being to the world
                       " Kamasutra " the art of making love to attain spirituality was explained
                        By an Indian philosopher Vatsayan to the world .

                       There are so many firsts .....
                      The freedom of expression ....
                      The freedom of existence ......
                      The freedom of volition to all ....
                      Which gave freedom of choice to women too .

                       But today freedom is warped
                      We are engulfed by the coma of indifference
                      We are controlled by the borrowed assumptions of others .

                       Today we are swirling 
                      In the vestibule of pretense and defense .....
                      Today ethics seems extinct 
                      And morality waivering

                       But I do believe the new generation will survive ...
                      While moving with new age 
                      I believe we shall reclaim the past glory 
                     I do believe :
                    The new generation will surely redeem
                    And restore our glorious past.

"  हम तो केवल आपकी  ज़िंदगी की परछाईं हैं "     बिस्तर पर  चादर के बल  सुबह होते ही रात की कहानी कह देते हैं  वैसे ही हम ज़िंदगी की कहानी बयान  करते हैं  आशा निराशा सब इन लकीरों में छिपी हैं   सीधा सच्चा सच  मन में ख़ुशी और चेहरे पर  हँसी की फुहारों की निशानी छोड़ जाता है इस जीवन ने बहुत कुछ दिया प्यार और इज़्ज़त झोली भर के मिली  चेहरे पर ये झुर्रियां नहीं  ज़िंदगी  के उतार चढ़ाव की सिलवटें हैँ बस   इन्हीं में छिपी है जीवन की तस्वीर    अब तो खुद को खुश करने का समय आया है  दुनियादारी और ज़िम्मेदारियाँ सब दिल से निभाईं  ये सिलवटें हमारी रंग बिरंगी ज़िंदगी की  कही और अनकही कहानियाँ हैं  ये स...
