YESTERDAYS AND TODAYS Music of life Going up and down Singing the rhythm of time Loads of memories Yesterdays made my todays My todays made my future Naughty little childhood Playing, listening, learning and growing Carefree The best years of life Youth, a feverish dream Loving and lusting Achieving - fighting for right Youth flies away in a wink Rhythm of time changes And life becomes slower Thinking changes Values change Reality starts surfing up The rhythm of time is singing Competitive spirit of youth Grows into a wiser heart Values change Understanding of reality  And the truth arrive Large - heartedness of love  Reveals itself Beautiful old memories Make way to uncenter the self Getting ready now for future -------

THE T IGRESS She shuts her eyes, tastes sweetness Unknown to the bitterness Under the garb of sweetness She never questioned Slogged for years Her tears invisible Full of fears Sweet home turns into a lie Becoming a torture cell Many times ruthless Men carry guns under sweetness Women become rivers  Receiver of the filth of the world Target of atrocities  Opinions and egos  Target of being looked down upon Finally the forgiven fight Women shout aloud We will not forgive the seducer And the corrupt Finally   Yes - finally The tigress in the jungle Wakes up and walks  fearless Makes her choice And owns her space  In her life Yes  The women ________    

  बिंदिया  मैं हूँ हिन्दी की बिंदी   नाम है मेरा नारी     जलधारा की तरह  हर क्षण बहती हूँ  कभी शांत नदी बन  तो कभी हरे भरे मैदानों में  खिलखिलाती हुई इठला कर चलती हूँ  और  चट्टानों सी कठिनाइयों की दरारों में  अपना रास्ता बना कर आगे बढ़ती हूँ  जल ही जीवन है  कभी खुशियों की लहरों के संग डोलता है  तो कभी दुःख दर्द के थपेड़े सह कर  आने वाले कल के सपने देखता है  जल की हर बूँद की अपनी किस्मत है  कहाँ जा कर ठहरे कुछ पता नहीं  जीवन में हर दिन इकअपना ही रंग लिये आता है   ज़िंदगी भी जल की तरह बिना रुके आगे ही बढ़ती है   मैं हूँ  जल की धारा   मेरा ही रूप है नारी  सृष्टी की रचना है नारी की ज़िम्मेदारी  नारी की बाहों में ही  है इंसानियत का पालना  सच्ची भावना और मन  की शक्ति से  खुद को ख़र्च करती हुई अपनों के लिये जीती है  वो झुक सकती है पर टूटती नहीं   वह सदा समय के साथ चलती है  जल की धारा जैसी...

फुलवारी  हमारी सोच, हमारी इच्छाएँ  हमारे जीवन के मोती  हर छोटे और बड़े मोती  की अपनी ही  चमक है  जीवन की कोई भी ख़ुशी छोटी नहीं   छोटी बड़ी सभी ख़ुशियों की यादें  दिल में गहरी समाई रहती हैं  ज़िंदगी में हमेशा केवल आज ही आता है  कभी भी कल तो आता ही नहीं   सूरज रोज़  सारी दुनियां का  जन्मदिन लेकर निकलता है   आओ हर दिन प्रेम से मिलजुल कर  मनाएँ   दिल में प्यार हो तो  रोज़ ख़ुशियों के मेले लगते हैं  प्यार के दो मीठे बोल  सारी दुनियाँ को ख़ुशी दे सकते हैं  उनके दुःख दूर कर सकते हैं बस अपने अहंकार और मन-मुटाव को भुला कर  दोस्ती और प्यार को गले लगाऐं  अपने सपनों और खुशीओं के रंगबिरंगे फूलों से  जीवन की फुलवारी सजाएं आपकी अपनी ख़ुशरंग मोतियों की फुलवारी  जिसमें छोटी छोटी खुशियाँ, आपकी सफलताएँ    अपनों का प्यार  और उनकी अनगिनत यादोँ  के फूलों की महक बसी है     बस यही है जीवन का सौंदर्य       _____________...

I- ME- MYSELF   The essence of our personality  Our spirit Lives like a silk-worm  In a cocoon With our feelings, thoughts and actions Forming relationships Friends and enemies are parts of life Actions and interactions Create an image of  I- Me- Myself  The superiority complex Where others don't exist Arrogance and aggression Makes an  egoist Where real happiness eludes Until the ego is satisfied In Mahabharat Duryodhn's Ego was boosted  By false admiration and respect Destroyed him eventually Ego masters you Ego creates enemies among friends Or you can master your ego Ego can  end the relationships also Brain is easily satisfied By insincere admiration Creates vanity and egoism Seeing through the positivity And negativity of other's behavior Being cautious in every situation  Can save everyone To keep away from ego This will lead you To the contentment of life And real happiness    Your rightful behavior Will earn you respect...

  I AM LIFE Yes-- I am life Life is loving. And life is sharing Life is peace. And life  is a war Life is a pleasure And life is a pain Life is gentle  Life is cruel Life is the giver Life is a snatcher Life is a dream. And life is real Life is an inspiration Life is a desperation Life is positive. And Life is negative Life is a painting It's the colour of your passion Life is an opportunity Make your mark Or just be a remark Yes -- I am life And life is everywhere -----------------

AND I SURVIVE Your thought comes Like fresh air caressing Reminding me the good old bold days You entered my heart quietly  When you said "I love you" Filled my world with happiness The gift of your love Grew roses in my life Beautiful memories surround me Your guitar's music and your lovely songs Ring in my ears and stir my soul There is pain in my heart And as much sweetness Of life we lived together We said it all- But still- so much unsaid- The passion of your love nourishes me You the strength of my life You said" I am yours forever " Now you live within me And I survive --------------------  

THE UNSUNG HERO Essence of nature is The spirit of selfless service  To entire creation of the world Silent like a saint Tree sees the vagaries of life Roots extend deep into earth Like threads of life Tree stands surrounded by the canopy Of heart shaped leaves With a heart within Healing and sheltering all In heat and cold In rain and storm Trees don't die   They go away in style  And come back to life in style Flowers and leaves to worship Decorate and  appreciate Grass is soft but strong never hurts Fruits and nuts Nourish us to sustenance Plants take from nature Air, water and light Pay back as food, oxygen and water A Sanskrit verse says "A son is equal to ten reservoirs And a tree is equal to ten sons" It follows the Wheel Of Creation Giving it back to the world Sri Krishna said in Gita "A simple tree guides us to the success of life Selfish and sinful person is a thief Will remain in distress and no peace" (3. 12 &13) A tree is the Hero of the mother ...

STARS NEED DARKNESS Waking up in darkness  Sunless, moonless, directionless Entering eyes, ears and mouth Darkness is not empty Silence walks through it loud Ready to swallow Drown in darkness or come out of it Absence of light  Does not mean there is no light Only you can find your light There is only one life in life Dreams are the desires You can wash away the darkness of mind  Procrastination is as bad  As not thinking or no action at all When you seek it you find it Suffering is not the solution Darkness is neither defeat nor depression It urges you to shine Stars need darkness to see themselves You are special You are born to be happy and free Dismiss darkness of doubts  And dilemma Fulfill your dreams, your desires Banish darkness with the light of love Love is the light Incites you to act Light is life Happiness is your birthright _________  

मैं और मेरी खुशियाँ  बक्से में संभाल कर रखे थे मैनें  अपनी छोटी छोटी खुशियों के पल   सोचा था आराम से बैठ कर इन्हें जीऊँगी  भागती  रही जीवन भर  कभी अपनों के लिये तो कभी अपने लिये   पता ही नहीं चला, समय कैसे बीत गया  आज शीशे में देखा  खुद को पहचान ही नहीं पाई  कहाँ खो गयी वो पहली सी  मैं जब बक्सा खोला तो हैरानी हुई  वहां कुछ भी नहीं था  मेरा प्यार, दुलारऔर हँसी कहाँ गयी  जिनमें मेरी ज़िन्दगी छिपी थी  आज मेरे हाथ खाली थे  और मन में अफ़सोस पर क्या करती मैं, अपने लिये  कभी समय ही नहीं मिला   सोचती हूँ आज  जीवन में एकदम तो कुछ भी नहीं होता  इन्हीं क्षणों में हमारा अतीत, हमारा  वर्तमान  और भविष्य भी  छिपा है  हर सांस में इक उम्मीद है  जीवन के हर क्षण में कुछ करनें का मौका है  हर पल में कुछ करने का इक साहस छिपा है  नदी का बहता पानी आपके हाथ को छू कर  हमेशा के लिये आगे बढ़ जाता है  बस वही  क्षण इक आरम्भ है ...

  A MOMENT Precious little moments Fly away in a fraction of a moment Once gone never come back Becoming an eternity Nothing happens at once Moments are the process of living Collection of these moments Our past, our present Giving us hope for future A moment is a possibility  An opportunity to form a thought Take a decision to plan action And create the reality Moments bring Either happiness or sadness Missed moment of pleasure Becomes a seed of pain River water touches you only once Touch of a moment is very special River moves ahead endlessly It's a beginning and an end Moments are a wink of eternity  Defining the circle of life  Precious little moments are a treasure Carrying every detail of your living Every moment is the continuity of life Hold each moment in your hands And make the best of it ------------------

VIRGIN RAIN Rain  is the virgin water, rain is the river Rain is the ice, rain is the ocean Rain is the cloud again Clouds slowly stepping ahead  Pregnant with the flower of life Tiny raindrops falling Smiling little girls singing "Hello rain, hello again We want to dance again"   Woman  A flower of life  The virgin rain Alive and strong Hope and courage ingrained in her soul Receives all The good, the bad And worst of the world Victim of ego, opinions and ideas The undetonated explosives too Soothing sound of rain Drizzling on light A beautiful sight Tears the water of the soul Washing away all pain Woman- the ocean Rising high in the journey of life Roaring, uprooting obsolete and the weak Makes benign beginnings Carries on the natural order of life Her arms a cradle of every generation  Of love Life's moving force  Woman- The Virgin Rain Virgin Rain - A Woman _________  

   बड़ी ज़िद्दी है यह ज़िंदगी   कभी चंचल तो कभी निर्मल   कभी खिलखिलाती है तो कभी गुनगुनाती है  बस थोड़ी सी मनचली  है ज़िंदगी  इक नन्ही बच्ची की तरह मासूम है ये  तुम्हारा हाथ पकड़ कर चलती है  फिर जहाँ चाहो जिधर चाहो उधर ही मुड़ जाती है  फिर वैसी ही बनती है ज़िंदगी  तुम किसी से कम नहीं   और  तुम्हारे जैसा भी कोई नहीं  हर इंसान विशेष है  हर एक के मन में ब्रह्मांड छिपा है  खुद को पहचानो तो बात बने  फिर बनाओ अपनी ज़िंदगी जैसा जी चाहे और जीओ  जैसा जी चाहे  इक बात कहूँ ज़िंदगी कभी भी  उधार नहीं रखती  जीवन में  कुछ गलत हो जाए या कुछ खो जाए   तो दिल छोटा न करो  ज़िंदगी मन भी बहलाती है और जो खो गया उसकी भरपाई भी करती है  उड़ने के लिये पंख तो सब को मिले हैं  फिर सोचना क्यों  अपनी उम्मीदों, और अपनी आशाओं के पंछिओं को  मन के पिंजरे में कैद न करो   खुला छोड़ दो उन्हें आसमान छूने दो    भरो उड़ान...

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOON Mighty as mountains  We the humans One of the strongest creation of the world All created by God's will Bodies of breaths in different colors All shades of humans and other beings So what ? If some of us are black or brown  They are the other side of the moon Is life not life  If  it's in a black and brown body?   THE  MOTHER Mother The Earth Who - bears the tears The hurrahs of happiness The tortures of  - mud and blood Of her own saplings To see them grow Into women and men The atoms of future hope Or  Despair? My procreator impervious to all Smiles the smile Of love Of faith Of Patience ---

  THE AWAKENING When alone I travel within Gather my many scattered selves Make them one into myself Being with self Brings the light of consciousness Self assessment Finding beauty in the clutter  Of thoughts and beliefs Seeing the united expanse of the darkness  Sparkling stars Stirring new ambitions Giving courage and hope Solitude becomes a guide Wakes up new dreams Of love, of kindness For all Lost in the streets  Of heart and mind Listening the sadness of the world Can decide  To help the poor and the troubled Solitude - the awakening The harbinger of inner strength And the peace  Awakening bringing  The pearls of positivity  ____________

  विश्वास की गोंद  नए साल के पहले दिन  सोचती हूँ आज ही होलिका  की आग में  पिछले सालों की परेशानियाँ इसमें डाल दूँ   इन सालों नें हमें हिम्मत और धैर्य का पाठ तो पढ़ाया ही   जो हमारे पास है उसकी कीमत भी  बताई  साल बदला है  पर अनजाने दुश्मन की परछाईं  अभी भी मंडरा रही है  अकेलापन और अपनों को खोने का दर्द मन में है  नई आशाओं और उम्मीदों को फिर से ग्रहण लगा है  खुशीओं का पालना फिर चिंता से डोल रहा है  पर हम भी हौंसला नहीं छोड़ेंगे आत्मविश्वास की चमकती गोंद के  मरहम से  सहमी ज़िंदगी को फिर सुन्दर बनाएँगे  ये अहंकार का समय नहीँ  हम सब एक हैं  छोटी छोटी ख़ुशियों के पंछियों को    अपने चारों तरफ उड़ने दो आज ज़िंदगी बहुत डरी हुई है  यही समय है हौंसला और समझदारी दिखाने का   यही समय है नई शुरुआत करने का  आज ज़िंदगी सहमी है  पर है ये बहुत भोली और बहुत ज़िद्दी  आओ हम उम्मीद और अपने  विश्वास की  चमकती गो...
