  A  GRAIN  OF  SAND  AND  MANKIND Strolling on the beach I pick up a fistful of sand Tiny particles slip through my hand Playing around my feet Carving my footprints God created this amazing world The birds, the bees and the trees We are fashioned by him All blessed with special strengths God created sand too The tiny grains of sand are tender But it does not mean their strength is slender Floods create havoc  Finishing life and the living Only sandbags can stop and save from devastation Humble grains of sand are very light But reveal story of the  planet Earth Can it be compared with life ! The smiles, the tears and the years Fragile as ever Fly away unaware We are a drop in the ocean of life A seed of greatness  Born with wings Fly to your dreams Own your personal possibilities Nothing can stop you You are not small You are free to achieve  Your ideals, your dreams Fly and own your special strengths ----------

YOGINI I became a Yogini When we looked at each other Oblivious to the world around We got together forever I inhaled your breath Submerged myself In the incense of your soul Exhaled slowly This became my “Pranayam” Sitting silent I think of your smile Soak myself in its sunshine This became my “Dhyana” Lost in you Unaware of the world Very still in body and mind And this became my “Samadhi” Arising like an ivy I encircle you with my arms Enclosing tight - to reach your heart Your love became my “Moksha” And I became a Yogini      A Yogini for life        --------

LONELINESS : QUIETUDE Life is fun, fabulous And fickle in nature Loneliness and quietude Are just the two sides of a coin Quietude is being with yourself It's a journey of joy Faith dissolves sorrow and grief And it gives you the gift  Of calmness and happiness Loneliness and sadness  Is the pain of feeling alone Due to personal loss Or an innocent guilt                                                Modern technology creates loneliness Excess of screen time On television, computer and phones Have robbed our self time Depression and loneliness  Are negative Time management of self care Allowing yourself to be a casualty of pain Calmness, meditation, quietude  Are all positive  Time management of self care Enhance the personal growth Observation, creativity And realization of the universal truth of self Inner peace gives strength To face the cha...

अकेलापन और एकांत  भोली और मासूम ज़िंदगी  आपका हाथ पकड़ कर  चलती है फिर वैसी ही बन जाती है जैसा आप चाहें अकेलापन और एकांत  मन और जीवन की परछाईं हैं  बस ये एक ही सिक्के के दो पहलू  हैं  उदासी और अकेलापन  अपने आप को अकेला महसूस करने का दर्द है  मन सहारा ढूंढता है  कभी टेलीविज़न में कभी कम्प्युटर तो कभी फ़ोन में  कोइ मुझे पहचाने,  कोई मुझे सराहे  बस यही दिल चाहे   अकेलापन केवल मन की नकारात्मक सोच है  इसीलये मन का अपने आप से  मिलना मुश्किल  इक दर्द बन जाता है  एकांत खुद से मिलने की सकारात्मक सोच है  श्रुती , मनन और ध्यान  जीवन के उतार चढ़ाव और  मन का सच जानने का  साधन  हैं  एकांत में मन सदैव शांत  हमेशा आगे बढ़ने को तैयार  जीवन की हर चुनौती को स्वीकारता है  एकांत में ही मन सुशोभित है   उदासी और अकेलेपन में मन सदा अशांत  ये मन ही दोस्त  और ये मन ही दुश्मन  यही दर्द जीवन को आगे बढ़ने से रोकता है ज़िंदगी का हर पल के...

LIFE IS NAUGHTY  Happy sweetheart humming Dreaming and answering "Oh! yes , Oh! yes" Innocent and naughty life leaps From one direction to another Infusing life in life Rain and sunshine, success and failure  Happiness and sadness, pain and pleasure Offering us freedom of movement Help us grow and evolve Tongue-tied time moves silently We like it or not, we have to accept The colorful transient duality of life Anger,  illusion,  envy, lust,  Pride and greed The human weaknesses are enemies Responsible for passionate actions reactions History verifies many unfortunate happenings Adjustments and acceptance Make life easy  Our heart is as deep as the sea Capable of  enduring and remaining calm Sustaining us as the deep sea Life is as innocent as naughty by nature Just like a child running around Moving from one dimension to another Rising above the duality of life Is the substance and essence of life Living in harmony  Peace and happiness __________

ज़िन्दगी की लकीरें  खुद को आइने में  देखा तो चौंक गयी चढ़ती उम्र कैसे बीती पता ही नहीं चला  कहाँ से कहाँ आ गई ज़िंदगी    समय जैसे पंख लगा कर  उड़ गया  मुझे हैरान देख चेहरे की लकीरें  हँस पड़ी  मुस्कुरा कर बोलीं " अरे भई क्या हुआ ? "  हम तो केवल आपकी  ज़िंदगी की परछाईं हैं "     बिस्तर पर  चादर के बल  सुबह होते ही रात की कहानी कह देते हैं  वैसे ही हम ज़िंदगी की कहानी बयान  करते हैं  आशा निराशा सब इन लकीरों में छिपी हैं   सीधा सच्चा सच  मन में ख़ुशी और चेहरे पर  हँसी की फुहारों की निशानी छोड़ जाता है इस जीवन ने बहुत कुछ दिया प्यार और इज़्ज़त झोली भर के मिली  चेहरे पर ये झुर्रियां नहीं  ज़िंदगी  के उतार चढ़ाव की सिलवटें हैँ बस   इन्हीं में छिपी है जीवन की तस्वीर    अब तो खुद को खुश करने का समय आया है  दुनियादारी और ज़िम्मेदारियाँ सब दिल से निभाईं  ये सिलवटें हमारी रंग बिरंगी ज़िंदगी की  कही और अनकही कहानियाँ हैं  ये स...
