I became a Yogini

When we looked at each other

Oblivious to the world around

We got together forever


I inhaled your breath

Submerged myself

In the incense of your soul

Exhaled slowly

This became my “Pranayam”


Sitting silent

I think of your smile

Soak myself in its sunshine

This became my “Dhyana”


Lost in you

Unaware of the world

Very still in body and mind

And this became my “Samadhi”


Arising like an ivy

I encircle you with my arms

Enclosing tight - to reach your heart


Your love became my “Moksha”

And I became a Yogini

     A Yogini for life
