                                 startled I stopped -
                                 and looked at my hands 

                                 Hands walk us through life......
                                Hands take us around the world......
                                Hands are the teachers.....
                                Hands are the learners ...
                                And hands learn faster than the mind

                                 Can anyone forget the soothing touch of mother's hands 
                                Can anyone forget the pat and the push of father's hands 
                                Can anyone forget Mother Teresa's compassionate hands
                                filled with love and care 

                                 A formal handshake
                                A casual touch of hands
                                Apolitical handshake
                                A political handshake........
                                A delicate soft romantic touch....
                                A good touch and the wrong -  bad touch  

                                Hands carry our thoughts........
                               And we use hands for every action 
                              The achievers of our dreams
                               Hands fulfill our desires 

                                Hands--The Doers
                               Hands hold destinies in their fist 
                               I look at the hands again --
