                                       You haunt me 
                                       You hunt me 
                                       You weal me to weaken me
                                       You rive me or rend me
                                       But you can't erase me

                                        I might meekly abide
                                       But you can't get into my mind
                                       Not ever console me
                                       Nor ever pity me
                                       Now I arise for myself

                                       My body is not your game
                                      I am not your time trial...
                                      I live in this body
                                      In my skin , in my bones and in my muscles

                                       You sat on my knees as a child
                                       I taught you compassion
                                      I taught you  love - a special dignity
                                     Forgotten in lust by many

                                       I am love...
                                      Love is never small 
                                      It's large hearted
                                       Love glows and transcends
                                      The laws of time and change
                                      I am a woman- a woman
                                      And I am human
