And life  is a war Life is a pleasure And life is a pain Life is gentle  Life is cruel Life is the giver Life is a snatcher Life is a dream. And life is real Life is an inspiration Life is a desperation Life is positive. And Life is negative Life is a painting It's the color of your passion Life is an opportunity Make your mark Or just be a remark Yes -- I am life Your life And life is everywhere -----------------

AND I SURVIVE Your thought comes Like fresh air caressing Reminding me the good old bold days You entered my heart quietly  When you said "I love you" Filled my world with happiness The gift of your love Grew roses in my life Beautiful memories surround me Your guitar's music and your lovely songs Ring in my ears and stir my soul There is pain in my heart And as much sweetness Of life we lived together We said it all- But still- so much unsaid- The passion of your love nourishes me You the strength of my life You said" I am yours forever " Now you live within me And I survive --------------------  

THE UNSUNG HERO Essence of nature is The spirit of selfless service  To entire creation of the world Silent like a saint Tree sees the vagaries of life Roots extend deep into earth Like threads of life Tree stands surrounded by the canopy Of heart shaped leaves With a heart within Healing and sheltering all In heat and cold In rain and storm Trees don't die   They go away in style  And come back to life in style Flowers and leaves to worship Decorate and  appreciate Grass is soft but strong never hurts Fruits and nuts Nourish us to sustenance Plants take from nature Air, water and light Pay back as food, oxygen and water A Sanskrit verse says "A son is equal to ten reservoirs And a tree is equal to ten sons" It follows the Wheel Of Creation Giving it back to the world Sri Krishna said in Gita "A simple tree guides us to the success of life Selfish and sinful person is a thief Will remain in distress and no peace" (3. 12 &13) A tree is the Hero of the mother ...

STARS NEED DARKNESS Waking up in darkness In the vacuum of negativity  Sunless, moonless, directionless Entering eyes, ears and mouth Drown in darkness or come out of it Absence of light  Does not mean there is no light Only you can find your light In positivity There is only one life in life Dreams are the desires Just work on your dreams You can wash away the darkness of mind  Procrastination is bad  As no action at all When you seek it you find it Suffering is not the solution Being sad or depressed  Is neither defeat nor depression It urges you to shine Remember Stars need darkness to see themselves You are very special You are born to be happy and free Dismiss the darkness of doubts  And dilemma Fulfill your dreams, your desires Wake up with the light of positivity  Love yourself  Love is the light  Incites you to act Light is life Life is beautiful Happiness is your birthright _________  

मैं और मेरी खुशियाँ  बक्से में संभाल कर रखे थे मैनें  अपनी छोटी छोटी खुशियों के पल   सोचा था आराम से बैठ कर इन्हें जीऊँगी  भागती  रही जीवन भर  कभी अपनों के लिये तो कभी अपने लिये   पता ही नहीं चला, समय कैसे बीत गया  आज शीशे में देखा  खुद को पहचान ही नहीं पाई  कहाँ खो गयी वो पहली सी  मैं जब बक्सा खोला तो हैरानी हुई  वहां कुछ भी नहीं था  मेरा प्यार, दुलारऔर हँसी कहाँ गयी  जिनमें मेरी ज़िन्दगी छिपी थी  आज मेरे हाथ खाली थे  और मन में अफ़सोस पर क्या करती मैं, अपने लिये  कभी समय ही नहीं मिला   सोचती हूँ आज  जीवन में एकदम तो कुछ भी नहीं होता  इन्हीं क्षणों में हमारा अतीत, हमारा  वर्तमान  और भविष्य भी  छिपा है  हर सांस में इक उम्मीद है  जीवन के हर क्षण में कुछ करनें का मौका है  हर पल में कुछ करने का इक साहस छिपा है  नदी का बहता पानी आपके हाथ को छू कर  हमेशा के लिये आगे बढ़ जाता है  बस वही  क्षण इक आरम्भ है ...

  A MOMENT Precious little moments Fly away in a fraction of a moment Once gone never come back Becoming an eternity Nothing happens at once Moments are the process of living Collection of these moments Our past, our present Giving us hope for future A moment is a possibility  An opportunity to form a thought Take a decision to plan action And create the reality Moments bring Either happiness or sadness Missed moment of pleasure Becomes a seed of pain River water touches you only once Touch of a moment is very special River moves ahead endlessly It's a beginning and an end Moments are a wink of eternity  Defining the circle of life  Precious little moments are a treasure Carrying every detail of your living Every moment is the continuity of life Hold each moment in your hands And make the best of it ------------------

VIRGIN RAIN Rain  is the virgin water, rain is the river Rain is the ice, rain is the ocean Rain is the cloud again Clouds slowly stepping ahead  Pregnant with the flower of life Tiny raindrops falling Smiling little girls singing "Hello rain, hello again We want to dance again"   Woman  A flower of life  The virgin rain Alive and strong Hope and courage ingrained in her soul Receives all The good, the bad And worst of the world Victim of ego, opinions and ideas The undetonated explosives too Soothing sound of rain Drizzling on light A beautiful sight Tears the water of the soul Washing away all pain Woman- the ocean Rising high in the journey of life Roaring, raring  Uprooting weak and the obsolete  Makes benign beginnings Carries on the natural order of life Her arms a cradle of every generation  Of love Life's moving force  Woman- The Virgin Rain Virgin Rain - A Woman _________
